From Managing People to Managing Agents: The IT Logical Restructuring Every Executive Must Face
The post explains how executives must shift from managing human employees to managing AI agents—outlining strategies for adopting agents, upgrading team skills, and establishing security and governance—to successfully restructure IT for an AI‑driven future.

Many viewed this as an exaggeration, but that is only because they failed to recognize the paradigm shift behind it. Linux solved the problem of how computers manage hardware to keep programs running stably—essentially helping humans "control computers." OpenClaw, however, solves the problem of how AI agents manage tools to get tasks done—essentially helping agents "control the digital world."

Executives must lead the way in auditing business processes to identify which workflows can be executed by agents, such as financial bookkeeping or sales follow-ups. It is recommended to establish a dedicated team to select a specific business touchpoint for a small-scale pilot. Once the human-agent collaboration workflow is proven in a real-world scenario, it can be scaled across other departments, ensuring the company isn't merely following the crowd after competitors have already completed their iterations.
